What an awesome service it was with the launch of the new room for the pre-school aged children. It was so exciting to see the young ones discovering more about Jesus through a variety of channels: Animated story telling, happy praise and worship (here is a song we learnt) and also through the prayer and discovery time. One thing we identified however was the need for some additional toys. Toy time is a wonderful time of building relationships with other children of the same age. Below are some pictures of some of the types of toys that are needed to furnish both the Toddlers and PreSchool rooms with.

Alternatively, if you have some toys that your young ones are no longer using, we certainly would welcome those too.... As long as those cars all have 4 wheels & the the train tracks actually has a train too. ;) - We value toys that are in good condition just like your children do. If you would like more information about what types of toys could be suitable, please phone Kathy on 0404 601 329 or talk to her at church.
We value the kids and we consider it an honour to be able to minister Jesus to them each week. There is some more exciting news coming up next week.

Hello Rhema Mums & Dads,
This coming weekend we will see some additional tweeks with the check-in process for the kids of Rhema. As mentioned by Ps Tony and Patsy in recent weeks, to accommodate the growth we have been experiencing, we are having to make some age group changes with the rooms for Toddlers and our early primary school-aged children.
This change will include the commencement of a new curriculum, First Look. We personally are excited introducing this dynamic program for the young ones. Tailored specific for 12 months - 6 years. More information will be available in coming weeks to those who have children in this age group. We encourage you to visit the First Look website and become familiar with the virtues and the various materials that are available there.
Another change we are making is that the from the arrival to service, is that children that are aged under 6, can be checked straight into their age-appropirate rooms. As we continue to grow, we will likely be having the older kids doing the same, but we do not have a date for that as yet.
Please be patient, as we continue to speed up the process for check-in. We are hoping to make this electronic as soon as possible. Remembering it is the for the safety of all children and for the peace of mind, that we ask you to check-in your children.

Finally, to help us better minister to your children, we have provided you with the Parents link of the curriculum that we use. Orange Parents is a great source of tips, tools and ideas to be creative with God's Word in the home. Be sure to get the iPhone App called Parent Cue, this is a fantastic tool for both US as Childrens Pastors and YOU as parents of the awesome Kids at Rhema.
Happy Parenting - These are great times!
Murray & Kathy
